Applied Archaeology and History Associates, Inc. (AAHA) is a small, woman-owned, consulting firm established in 1998 to serve the cultural resources needs of clients in the Mid-Atlantic, Mid-Western, and Southeastern United States. AAHA provides all aspects of cultural resources services, including archaeological investigations, architectural histories, and historic studies. AAHA focuses its efforts on defining and addressing clients' needs with regard to local, state, and federal cultural resources mandates.
Cultural resources compliance is often driven by laws and regulations
(at the local, state, and federal level) which mandate consideration
of prehistoric and historical remains. AAHA assists clients in
compliance procedures to identify and manage these resources without impeding progress. AAHA makes it possible to study the past while planning for the future. We take pride in our technical expertise, economical and efficient project management, and effective communications.
